Ideally I could go home for this next hour until...
But if I do, I won’t leave my hose for the rest of the day. I feel like shit and I’ll have to give the doctor more money today because my symptoms have gotten worse.

Seacrest's "guacamole" tweet about Bichir →
stfuracists: malenkydevil: Was Ryan Seacrest offensive to Oscar nominee Demian Bichir? YES. And fuck everyone in the comments section who is all “oh, it was a misunderstanding”  ”oh, he didn’t mean it.” Fuck them. And fuck you if you agree. I hadn’t heard about this controversy, probably because the focus has been on Billy Crystal and his blackface routine and joke about hugging black women...

princesscimorene replied to your post: Writing a paper about visiting Korea, I have learned the following things: WHAT? CANADA IS DOING IT? gaaahh why aren’t they doing it NOW? …sounds like you learned a lot about Korea… :P Yep, there are a few groups around the country that are doing it, but as far as my limited knowledge of geography, the Canada one is the closest. If it makes you feel better,...

did I mention how excited I am? Because I’m super excited. We’re talking about dressing like people from the capital, because when you go to a premier you dress up, right?

Writing a paper about visiting Korea, I have...
Korea has an international ballet competition every year Canada’s ballet is performing Alice in Wonderland in November, and I could actually go. Ginger—gal doesn’t know how to peel an orange. Nasal decongestants take a lot longer to kick in than I thought. There are people out there who have leftover wine that I can’t drink because they don’t mix well with nasal...

So I had a panic attack during my exam.
I mean, I had to legit stop myself from crying at least twice, and I couldn’t remember anything. I ended up only doing 9 of the 10 questions I was supposed to. It was like I could see the notes in my head, and there were these huge blank holes. Kind of like this: So I was very much like this: I really hope my grade can recover from the beating it’s about to take from this exam.

ginger—gal replied to your post: @ginger—gal I love the colors, but even with a good topcoat the quality is just meh. My topcoat works magic on nail polishes and this nail polish is super disappointing even with the top coat. I don’t remember ever getting bubbles in my nail polish.

@ginger--gal
Now I totally see what you were talking about with the Zoya nail polish. It was chipped and dented the same day that I painted my nails, and now it has these little bubbles appearing that I don’t understand. My cheapo LA Nails color was better than this.

Finally watching "For Colored Girls"
I expected it to be good, but it’s even better than I thought. The performances by the women in this movie are amazing, and they touch on the real issues black women have gone through.

I'm home alone.
Which clearly means I must sing in the shower. Loudly, and out of tune. So excuse me.

jabblesblonski: I can’t handle it.  There is a large pile of used tissues sitting on my coffee table. Every time I cough my head hurts. This is awful. I wish I had a large vat of chicken noodle soup to bathe in. or a never ending ice cream supply. When you swallow does it feel like your ears are going to explode? Because that’s how I feel.

I woke up with a sore throat
I refuse to be sick right now. I’ve got two friends with birthdays this weekend, and then I’ve got two midterms, two papers, and a scholarship application due next week. I can be sick over spring break. I’m going nowhere, and the most I’ll be doing is working, so I can be sick then, not now.

For women, heart attacks look different. →
nefariousnewt: distractedbyshinyobjects: Follow me down the rabbit hole for a second: I’ve long wondered if this - that women don’t recognize the symptoms of a heart attack in themselves, and consequently don’t get the fast care that is vital for heart attack survival - is the reason heart disease is the #1 killer in women. Women statistically take better care of themselves health-wise, than...
